Certificate Requirements

  • Complete Three (3) Courses from this track to receive a Basic Bible Certificate

  • Complete Six (6) Courses from this track to receive a Advanced Bible Certificate

  • In some years, a Basic Certificate will be achievable in one year but Certificates can be achieved over multiple years

The Story of the Bible

This course will provide an overview of the content of the Bible while exploring the story of God, most notably in Christ, restoring His Creation and the His relationship with mankind which has been marred by sin.

How to Study and Interpret the Bible

This course will equip people to read and study the Bible on their own. This course will look at the method of understanding, interpreting and applying the Scriptures in their historical-contextual setting as well as the methods used by Bible writers for interpreting the Scriptures.

Our Statement of Faith

Explore the Biblical foundations of the Glory Chapel and Youth Challenge International statements of faith as a primer in Systematic Theology. This course will help the student to understand what we believe as well as to understand the Biblical support for these beliefs.

Bible Electives

A variety of courses will be offered on individual books of the Bible (Matthew, Genesis, Isaiah, etc) or on sections of the Bible (Pentateuch, Gospels, Epistles, etc.). These courses will more deeply ground the student in the truth of God's Word.

Theology Electives

A variety of courses will be offered in individual topics in Systematic Theology. Courses will be designed to connect students to the history of Christian thought on how the Church has thought about God and his work in the world, as well as to address contemporary issues that arise in current church and societal culture.
